Market insights

What is actually happening

We keep an eye on the market so you don’t have to, and we share what we find here every week. Below you’ll find the stories worth knowing about — how the market is moving, where mortgage rates are heading, what the developers are up to — each one linked to the original, so you can read it yourself rather than take our word for it. After that, the RTA’s list of every road and transport project being built right now. Roads take years, which is exactly what makes them worth planning around.

Roads & Transport Authority

What is actually under construction

Not reporting — the RTA’s own project register, read straight from their site. These are the road and transport schemes running in Dubai right now, with the authority’s own completion figures where it publishes them. Infrastructure is decided years before it shows up in a price, and this is the list it is decided from.

Source: RTA Projects, Roads & Transport Authority, Government of Dubai. Percentages are the RTA’s own, published against each project; a dash means they have not published one. They are not all refreshed on the same schedule and some lag the RTA’s own announcements — the Blue Line still reads 10% here, from the first months of construction, while Dubai Media Office put it at 20% in May 2026. Where figures disagree we use the later one, as on our Dubai 2040 page. A project appearing here is not a statement about any property near it.
